What would you do if you were framed for shooting a President? Bob Lee Swagger (Mark Wahlberg) turns to proving his innocence in the action packed film Shooter. The turn of events that occurs leaves this all-american former marine sniper left fighting for his life and the lives of all those ensnared. Events begin when Bob Lee Swagger is approached by retired Colonel Isaac Johnson ( Danny Glover), who tries to convince him in aiding to prevent the assassination of the president and saving his country. With much debate, still bitter from a betrayal long ago in his marine days, Swagger agrees and thus begins his spiraling journey. With yet another betrayal this time by Johnson, Swagger is left running from all forms of the law including a dark organization which wishes the secrets uncovered by Swagger to remain dead and buried. Fleeing and fighting at the same time, questioning and trusting no one, Swagger has but one friend and one mission, his sniper expertise and to bring down those who not only betrayed him but his country as well.  A young interracial couple move into their new home in Los Angeles and find that it isn't the dream they thought it would be. Chris (Patrick Wilson) and Lisa Mattson (Kerry Washington) find that their new neighbor, Abel Turner (Samuel L Jackson), is a police officer and self appointed protector of the neighborhood. In the beginning Abel seems friendly enough but it soon becomes apparent that he doesn't seem to approve of the new couple, perhaps because of their actions in the new neighborhood or perhaps out of disapproval of their relationship. Jackie Chan, a top secret militant soldier, crashes into the South African jungle after his mission of kidnapping three scientists (who were experimenting with a powerful mineral) has gone array. Waking up in a village of local natives, Chan has no memory of who he is, thus being addressed as "Who Am I". His journey with aid from two female sidekicks to find out his identity leads him all the way to Rotterdam where he coincidentally discovers the location of the organization that kidnapped the three scientists. However, he is caught by the police. Agent Bilkins, another familiar face from the first movie, offers Brian a deal. Rather than going to jail he can go undercover, working for Carter Verone. Verone is a drug lord with a high bankroll. Brian accepts under the pretence that he can pick his own partner. Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), a former U.S. Marine is selected to participate in the Avatar program. He is sent to a Planet called Pandora, residence of a primitive Na’vi alien race. He meets his officer Colonel Miles Quaritch (Stephen Lang) there who handles the human colony there. The authorities want to explore the planet for resources but are obstructed by the Na’vi. They convert Jake into a Na’vi hybrid and ask him to go to the Na’vi home to convince them to leave. While exploring the area Jake loses his group and is saved from wild animals by Neytiri (Zoe Salda?a) a female Na’vi. Jake starts gaining their trust as a Na’vi hybrid. He also reports to his commander simultaneously. He eventually decides to stop the humans from removing Na’vi people from that place and joins them as a Na’vi leaving his human body. | ||
